Email

You're web site's email is via POP. You can access your email any time via any email client.

Email Client:
Any standard email client to access your email (Outlook Express, Netscape Mail etc.). Settings for your client are:

Incoming mail (POP3): <yourdomain.name>(e.g.. acme.com.au)
Outgoing mail (SMTP): <use your Internet provider>
Account Name/User: <your email account user name>(e.g.. aaa05)
Password: <your password>

FTP Access

FTP access to your account can be either through a standard ftp client (such as Putty).

FTP Host: ftp.j2eehosting.com.au
User: <<as provided previously by support>>
password: <<as provided previously by support>>

MySQL Database Administration

Database administration is performed through a web-based client. This client allows you to fully administer, maintain and backup your database.
Point your browser at: www.j2eehosting.com.au/mysql/

Enter your user name and password when prompted, and you will then have full access to your database.

The web based interface is fairly intuitive. Essentially you click on either your database name and/or table names on the left hand menu, and you are presented with the various options on the right hand side (Structure, SQL, Export, Search, Query etc.).
There is also an online help manual should you need it.

Postgres Database Administration

Database administration is performed through a web-based client similar to the MySQL administration above.
Please contact support if you require your unique Postgres administration URL.

For emergency support out of these hours, you can page support 24 Hours via email on: 0418337321@messagenet.com.au.
Please note that this is for emergencies only (server down etc, otherwise support charges may apply as per terms and conditions).

If you need to page support in emergencies, include:
1. Your account reference in the subject.
2. The Message Body should contain a summary of problem (60 words max), along with a contact phone number and email.
